报告人简介：Professor of Biology at the Department of Biological Sciences and the current Director of the Center for Biodiversity Studies and Conservation (CBSC), Premier Research Institute of Science and Mathematics (PRISM) at the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), a Scientific and Technological Specialist (granted by the Civil Service Commission) and a Licensed Professional Teacher. Her research interests are: Molecular Systematics, Evolution, Phylogenetics and Conservation. She works with seahorses and pipefishes as her model organisms and other marine organisms for conservation and bioprospecting. Currently a member of the IUCN Seahorse, Pipefishes and Seadragons Specialist group of the Species Survival Commission. She considers herself forever a student of Science and a steward of the environment.
