报告人简介：After his studies of chemistry and biology and his doctorate in chemistry at the University of Göttingen, Helge B. Bode conducted research in Göttingen, Braunschweig and as a scholarship holder at Stanford University, USA. In 2004, he accepted a junior professorship at Saarland University before moving to Frankfurt University in 2008, where he served as the Merck-endowed chair (W3) for Molecular Biotechnology from 2008 to 2017, and continued as Professor for Molecular Biotechnology until 2022. In 2020, he was appointed Director and Head of the Department of Natural Products in Organismic Interactions at the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, Marburg. Since 2022, he has also held a professorship in Chemical Biology at the Department of Chemistry, Philipps-Universität Marburg, and since 2024, he serves as Managing Director at the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, Marburg. Prof. Bode has authored over 250 publications in leading journals such as Science, Nature Microbiology, and Nature Chemistry. His work has garnered more than 19,800 citations, with an h-index of 72 (Google Scholar).
