5月26日至30日，2015年度世界水产养殖大会（World Aquaculture 2015）在韩国济州岛召开，南海海洋所林强研究员及其研究团队成员参加了本次大会。 

    林强研究员作为分会主席主持了海马主题会议，我所黄良民、张艳红、张辉贤和罗伟博士等做了题为“Behavioral responses of seahorse to water current and anesthesia” 、“Population genetic structure and phylogenetic analysis of Syngnathidae along the china’s coasts”、“Molecular cloning and characterization of leptin in the lined seahorse Hippocampus erectus: regulation by food intake and fasting conditions”、“Accurate identification of the young seahorses (genus Hippocampus) using cross-species microsatellites”的报告，从我国海马资源现状、行为生态、遗传多样性等方面介绍了研究团队近年来在我国海马资源保护和可持续性利用等方面取得的研究进展。 

    报告引起了国际同行专家的浓厚兴趣，并与参会者展开了热烈的交流与讨论，体现了南海所在海马研究领域的影响力，达到了参会目的。
