珊瑚微生物生态；岛礁生物土壤结皮微生物生态。

代表性工作简介

围绕珊瑚微生物生态学领域的关键科学问题，揭示了珊瑚共附生细菌的微尺度空间分布特征和季节性变化；研究发现珊瑚微生物外膜囊泡的双重形态，及携带信号分子和水解酶的生化特征，提出珊瑚黏液层细菌外膜囊泡防御模型假设；揭示珊瑚共附生细菌产生群体感应信号分子响应环境压力。
