发表SCI论文40余篇,其中在The Innovation, Diversity and Distributions, Zoological Research, The Innovation life等国际期刊以第一或通讯作者发表论文13篇,主持国家级、省级等科研项目7项,并担任Diversity and Distributions, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society等期刊审稿人,协助培养研究生2名。多次参加西沙、南沙、珠江口等近、远海调查航次,收集海洋生物样本1万余份,发表和命名海洋鱼类新物种2个,建立新属1个。
