研究内容
珊瑚礁对于维护南海岛礁安全与稳定、生物资源可持续利用等具有重要意义。本人主要围绕“支撑珊瑚礁生态系统高效运转的物质和结构基础”这一关键科学问题，从典型热带珊瑚礁生态系统底层基础生产过程入手，开展物种多样性和营养摄食关系研究，解析珊瑚礁生态系统高效运转的物质通路与关键过程，甄别关键生物类群，为理解珊瑚礁生态系统健康运转提供基础数据和理论支持，进而服务于珊瑚礁生态修复与养护的技术研发、标准规范编制和政策制定等。
